Since her admission, Shrishti has obtained experience within family and personal injury matters. This allowed Shrishti to obtain experience in representing a diverse clientele and delivering high quality outcomes in court, settlement conferences and other forms of alternative dispute resolutions. Siddhartha Baral, is an international student from Nepal who began his journey in 2016. After completing his master’s in computer science, he now works as a senior software engineer for the gov of NSW. Vithyaa Thavapalan

Vithyaa identifies as an Australian Tamil whose family is from the northeast of Sri Lanka. She has over 10 years of experience in service to the community, business and investigation.

She is the co-founder and President of Brown Boss Babes, an organisation that empowers all women of colour with a focus on south Asian women through workshops and events across Australia. Full time she works as the 2IC and Senior Forensic Fire Investigator at Fire Forensics, operates two businesses one in e-commerce and the other in professional services. She also owned the renowned Sydney Flower Walls which she sold off to make time for her now 8 month old son, Velan. On top of that she also sits on the University of Technology Sydney’s Young Alumni Board.

Her business Murs De Fleurs Events won the local business awards in 2020. She was the finalist in the Stellar South Asian Women Awards presented by the Australian South Asian Centre in 2022. She won the Australian Tamil Chamber of Commerce Young Entrepreneur of Year Award in 2022 and recently was a guest speaker at Cumberland Council International Women’s Day Awards in 2023. She is very excited to be a mentor as she also came here as an international student and understands the challenges and successes that one can face.

Neha is also the founder of bindaas bilinguals a business that works with families and educators to promote educational, play based and creativity within bilingual language learning. She is also a teacher with 15 years of experience in various roles and is currently running some music and language playgroups.

Gayathri Singh arrived in Australia in 2005 as an International Student and completed her Bachelor of Laws (2005 – 2008) and Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice (2009) in University of Tasmania. She moved to Sydney in 2010 for work and completed her Master of Laws in University of Sydney (2012-2013), whilst working as a solicitor in private practice.

After working as a solicitor in Sydney for over 12 years’, which included couple of career breaks to grow her family, she started New Wave Legal concentrating in the areas of insolvency, debt recovery, property law (conveyancing, building and construction), business law including general business contracts, wills, and estate planning. Having spent over 20 years working in corporate sector at senior levels, Khyati decided to embark on seeking formal training in yoga and meditation after realising the tremendous impact it had on her own mental and physical wellbeing.

Khyati is committed to leveraging her business knowledge, strong people skills to drive balance, empathy, flexibility, and gender equality in workplace and our society more broadly.

Dr Rani

Rani is a holistic health care worker and a life coach for holistic healing from past traumas. She finished her schooling from Saint Mary’s in Kathmandu, Year 11, and Year 12 in modern Indian school Kathmandu. Rani then pushed off to India and graduated in Bachelor of Psychology from Fergusson College in Pune, Maharashtra. She worked with many underprivileged, in Dharavi in Mumbai. She worked with rape survivors, single mothers, poor, the disabled, uneducated people who had the kindest of heart.

Rani realised from very early years of her life, having been gone through depression / anxiety herself that she needed to understand people better. So, she felt she needed to study outside the classrooms, the books, to be able to understand humans’ behaviour better if she was to be a good counsellor.

Rani also studied meditation and soul connection from Indian healers and how to understand our inner world & our inner peace, and how to live better with contentment. She has also worked at NSW Education for more than 20 years as school support for students & staff for their mental care. Rani has also worked at psych wards as volunteer around NSW hospitals to understand mental health better and art of healing for patients. Rani has her my own healing centre, RANI’s couch, where she counsels many, face to face or WhatsApp. She does marriage counselling, family counselling, one on one counselling, and teenagers and children counselling. Mental health is very dear to her heart, and she loves helping people find their happy like she found hers.

Agam Mahal

Agam has been in this beautiful country for the past 8 years. She grew up in Northern India in the state of Punjab. As an international student herself she has lived experiences that have led her to this life full of contentment and self-actualization.

She studied environmental management and sustainability in Melbourne and has been working in the field for the past 4 years since she moved to Sydney for her first professional job. Agam started in the consulting sector, and she is currently working for the State govt in tackling our future climate change goals. She also volunteers for an organisation – Young Women in Sustainability in her free time.

She is also passionate about uplifting women, especially WOC, to reach their full potential and break down the glass ceiling.
